Hello! My name is Natalie Schneider, and I am the founder of Ladybug Lane Veggies. I started this 1/4 acre farm because I love growing food and sharing it with the people around me. I recently finished my Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainable Agriculture, which has deepened my appreciation for Earth-friendly farming practices. For me, Ladybug Lane Veggies is about bringing fresh vegetables, flowers, and seedlings to my community of North Texas and connecting us to the land.

What do I grow at Ladybug Lane?

Vegetables - In 2026, I am growing cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, peppers, and a variety of salad greens

Flowers - Flowers are my new favorite crops. There are so many different varieties, colors, and smells to grow, it’s a lot of fun!

Herbs - I grow a couple varieties of basil, as well as medicinal herbs for fresh tea. If you haven’t tried the tea, it’s a fan favorite!

Seedlings - I love offering homegrown seedlings because they are much more vigorous than store bought.

Denton Pitch Competition

In 2025, I had the pleasure of participating in the Denton Pitch Competition, where I presented my farm, its meaning to myself and the community, and my future business goals. I was fortunate to win $3,000 towards a post-harvest infrastructure upgrade that I am currently in the process of completing. Thank you again to Stoke for putting on the competition, the judges for participating, and community members for all your support!
